Women of Strong Heart
Manawa Nui Wāhine is a culturally grounded healing programme created to support wāhine on their journey of healing, reconnection, and empowerment.
Facilitated by the experienced team at H&P Wellness Therapy Ltd, this programme provides a safe and nurturing space for women to explore trauma, strengthen identity, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves and others through shared healing and culturally informed therapeutic practice.
Grounded in compassion, connection, and mana-enhancing support, Manawa Nui Wāhine encourages participants to move at their own pace while being supported within a respectful and empowering group environment.
Programme Focus
“Ko Wai Au?” Who Am I?
Participants are supported through a range of therapeutic and culturally grounded approaches including:
Somatic and body-based healing
Breathwork and grounding practices
Narrative therapy and identity rebuilding
Emotional awareness and regulation
Self-worth and confidence development
Mindfulness and self-compassion tools
Peer connection and shared healing experiences
The programme also integrates culturally specific practices, traditions, values, and healing approaches that strengthen connection, identity, and meaning throughout the healing process.
